Arguments Conversion: rtgen -> GRTGen

Postby rtnewb » Fri Oct 22, 2010 2:01 am

Hello,

I pretty new to password cracking (hence the name) and pretty much just stumbled across this website.
What I'd like to know is: What would this file look like for GRTGen? :?

Thanks in advance

Loweralpha numeric length 1-10?

Well, I wouldn't bother with len 1-6 or 1-7, because that's just trivially brute forceable.

Len10 tables, a GPU year or so to generate. Ish. Len 7-8-9 tables would be quick and easy.

I don't have the exact numbers, why? Do they finally have that one done?

Add some MultiGPU support and we'll be done in half a year or less, *yay*. No, just kidding. And no, they haven't done that one (yet?).

Tables with a length of 7, 8, 9? Depending on the charset that can be achieved pretty quickly by using BarsWF or the CUDA Multiforcer even. :?
