Segmentation Fault on 64-Bit

Postby hackajar » Tue Nov 16, 2010 3:50 am

Just updated my system to Ubuntu 10.10 64-bit and loaded the latest Nvidia (NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-260.19.21.run) driver. Now it just dies...

Code: Select all
root@sj1pgpuc01:/opt/multiforcer# ./CUDA-Multiforcer -d -1 -l -h NTLM -f /root/NTLM/bulk.txt --min=1 --max=7 -c charsets/charset-upper-lower-numeric-symbol-95.chr -o /root/NTLM/Bulk-Done3.txt --threads 1024 --blocks 60 -m 1024

Version 0.72, length 0-14
Currently supported hash types: MD5 FASTMD5 MD4 FASTMD4 NTLM FASTNTLM SHA1 FASTSHA1
Hash type: NTLM
./CUDA-Multiforcer: line 8: 16315 Segmentation fault      LD_LIBRARY_PATH="./lib64" ./CUDA-Multiforcer-64 $@

Thoughts?

Weird.

It's possible that my existing code doesn't work properly with the CUDA 3.2 driver versions... I know they made some changes, but I'm pretty sure I'm loading the old dynamic libraries, so... that *shouldn't* break.

I'll see what I can find out.

Hm. I suppose that's an error in my command line handling, then. I should make it more robust.
