Oh... expensive. Really, really expensive. $1500?

They're a 55nm GT200 core with the GPU bits removed. As a result, they run slightly cooler.

They're roughly comparable in compute power to a GTX285.

The GTX295, for CUDA purposes, is two GPUs. They're somewhat slower clocked, though - a GTX295 is about 1.7x a GTX285 in total compute power.

Yes, it's nice to have that much power to work with. I don't know how much they cost ... someone else at the company purchased them.
