Hm...

Those numbers look all wrong.

The GTX470 should have far more than 112 stream processors.

I'm wondering if there's an incompatibility with the older versions and the GTX400 series.

Try compiling from source with the 3.0 SDK. Or if you want, hook me up with a shell account and I can take a look. I don't actually have a GTX400 series card right now.
